  They claim to have the best BBQ LOL not hardly. Pork ribs were spare ribs and they were way to Tender to the point that they were almost mush. Don't think they smoke them because it had no smoke flavor at all. Maybe that's what you call barbecue in Virginia but where I'm from if it's not cooked on a smoker, it's not real bbq. I can bbq circles around these folks. Mediocre at best.

  Best BBQ I've found on the road...right up there with the best I've had. Easily beats Exit 87 BBQ in Tennessee and the BBQ restaurant next to Pilot in Hurricane Mills, TN. I'm normally not a fan of green beans, but theirs looked good, so I gave it a shot...damn glad I did. Best green beans on the planet as far as I'm concerned. Mac N cheese looked good too, but it was a little dry and didn't have much pep. I've eaten the brisket twice, and it has been top notch both times as was the Carolina BBQ sandwich (after trying TX and Carolina both, I must say I prefer the Carolina BBQ despite being from Texas). You may want to request extra sauce though as my sandwiches were a little dry for my liking. *As a side note, they will give you a small sample so you can taste each for yourself before you buy.* Other reviews claim the sandwiches don't have much meat, but I didn't find that to be the case for me. In fact, it had as much if not more meat than all the BBQ sandwiches I've ever had. Maybe I was lucky or those that posted negative reviews were unlucky. The folks here seem very nice, and I'd bet they might even add a bit more meat if you complained about it. I love this place. Definitely a regular stop, and the Petro across the street always has parking. I got in at 3:30 this morning and found a spot. This exit might be the best there is for a driver.

  So I wanted to try this plc after seeing their signs that say "the best BBQ". 1st off I really only like to gv good reviews, but the "BBQ" ribs were not cooked on a grill or in a smoker, they seemed to hv been baked or boiled & had no smoke flavor [they're huge tho]. I will say the fried chicken wings were good, customer service was good also.
